My Story

Thirty years of teaching.
Now available to a select few.

I built UXL Technology Academy from a simple conviction — that the gap between knowing and truly mastering a subject is almost always about how it is taught, not how hard the subject is.

Transforming professionals since

1994

A mentor forged in two worlds

My journey into education is unlike most. I graduated from the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy, and served as an Infantry officer in the Sikh Light Infantry — institutions renowned for forging ordinary young adults into extraordinary leaders through a rigorous, scientific process of transformation. That process shaped everything about how I teach.

After retiring early as a Major, I took everything I had learned about human development and channelled it into a new mission: building excellent technology professionals. I founded UXL Technologies and have spent over 30 years transforming hundreds of young professionals across multiple technology stacks and generations of tools.

What I believe makes my approach truly distinct is the depth behind it. I combine the Defence's proven science of human transformation with an intensive inner journey through psychology and spirituality — rooted in the Art of Living tradition — to teach not just technology, but how to think, learn, and grow as a professional and as a person.

Now, I am scaling this approach with AI — so that every student in my cohort can access the kind of mentorship that has been transforming careers since 1994.

What sets my teaching apart

Three decades. Three dimensions.

⚔️

Military precision

The Indian Defence forces don't just train — they transform. I bring that same disciplined, structured approach to every lesson I teach. No shortcuts. No guesswork. A clear system that produces results.

🧘

Inner mastery

My teaching is rooted in psychology and the Art of Living. I don't just develop technical skill — I address the whole person, because I have seen firsthand that mindset determines mastery.

🤖

AI at scale

I have encoded three decades of my mentoring expertise into an interactive AI platform — so every student in my cohort has access to my approach at any time, not just during scheduled sessions.

My Teaching Philosophy

Context is the curriculum.

🧠

I teach in context

Every concept I teach is drawn from real-world scenarios built over 30 years of business application development. My students never learn in a vacuum — they learn through problems that actually exist.

🔁

I use repetition with purpose

Mastery requires revisiting ideas from new angles at the right moment. I have trained my AI tutor to surface the right challenge when a student is ready for it — not random repetition, but deliberate reinforcement.

🤖

I built an AI mentor, not an answer machine

My AI is trained to guide students toward the answer, not hand it to them. That is exactly how I teach in person — and I refused to build anything that would undermine that principle.

📈

I measure long-term impact

I do not measure success by course completions. I measure it by whether my students can apply what they learned months and years later. That is the only metric that has ever mattered to me.

My Vision

Replicating 30 years of expertise — for the right students.

The most valuable thing about a great mentor is not just what they know — it's the way they make you think. I am using AI to scale my mentorship across a carefully selected cohort of learners, so more people can access what previously only a handful could.

I am not running open enrolment. I am looking for students who are genuinely ready to change how they think about software development. If that describes you, I would like to hear from you.
